Meet Ryder
Our PTSD & Anxiety Service Dog: Bringing Comfort, Calm, and Connection to Those Who Need It Most
Ryder is a 4-year-old golden doodle with a heart of gold and a calming presence that makes a world of difference. Ryder is specially trained to support individuals living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety. Whether he's visiting a senior center, comforting students at a school, or simply sitting with someone who needs a quiet moment of peace, Ryder is there to help.
As a service dog, Ryder accompanies his handler, Deby, wherever they go. Whether in public spaces or private settings, Ryder’s presence is a reminder that no one has to face their challenges alone. His gentle attentiveness offers quiet companionship, helps individuals feel grounded, and reminds them of their worth.
Who We Help:
Ryder's services are available to anyone experiencing anxiety, PTSD, or isolation. From seniors in residential centers to children and teens in schools, Ryder’s comforting presence has brought relief to many. We also visit other public spaces where individuals may benefit from Ryder’s unique support.
How We Help:
Whether through a one-on-one session or in a group setting, Ryder provides a calming influence that can help reduce anxiety, manage PTSD triggers, and alleviate feelings of loneliness. His intuitive nature allows him to respond to the emotional state of those around him, offering the exact support needed in the moment.
